Dear Member,
Wow, what a scorcher we're having and how lucky we
were that we had good weather for the summer barbeque.
Although I couldn't make this event I was really
happy to hear how well it had gone, so my thanks go to the Cathedral
Lodge for their hard work and to Jane Wallace for organising it
all.
Thanks also to everyone who came along and said hello at the
Ashford B2B exhibition and those who showed interest in joining.
The renewal letters will be going out soon so please don't forget
to renew.
On Wednesday 14th July at 19.15hrs we are holding our
Food for Thought event at Howfield Manor Hotel. This is
going to be a really good event with lots of food to try out
and a chance to find out more about local food producers in
the area. Please confirm your place with me - see details
below.
We won't be having a meeting in August, but I will be sending out
more details of the first event of our new year - yes, more food
and this time at The Chapter Arms, Chartham. You can book
already so please contact Diana Stampe - see
below for details.
Have a really good summer break - I'm going away
with my 3yr old, my 9yr old nephew and my mum - wish me luck!
Best Wishes
Sharon
