Dear Member,
Well
I'm back from Krakow & it was great - very warm, very lively, young
& interesting. A real mix of old & new.
For those of you
who went, I hope you enjoyed the joint networking event at Prewer &
Orsborn.
The Kent Business Exhibition took place on a very hot
Friday at Canterbury cricket ground and although there probably wasn't the
attendance that many of us would have liked it was a real chance to meet
people & lots of leaflets both for WIB & our members were
distributed.
There
are 2 more events left before our summer break in August so do come along
they are a fantastic way to get to know people and tell them about
yourself & your business. Also do let me know if you are running
events, workshops etc. as some of our members (including me!) have done
this month.

Polka Dot Art Centre - Teynham
6th-22nd June as part of the SE Open Studios Colin
Barnard owner of The Polka Dot is showing a wide selection of
figurative sculptures and ceramics will be there Saturdays and
Sundays Sioux Peto of LB Graphics is showing large digital canvases
will be there Fridays and Sundays Frances Rowley Beaumont is showing
water features alongside stone and glass sculptures and paintings
will be there Saturdays and Sundays Artist Demos in the gallery
throughout June Special extended opening times Friday Saturday
Sunday 10-8pm, Everyone welcome. If the weather is Ok there will be
seating and coffee in the garden

Introductory Coffee Morning to Colour & Style
Wednesday 4th June 2008 10 am
Join Jane Wallace from the Image Consultancy House of
Colour at her studio just outside Canterbury to discuss the basis of
Colour Analysis - what colours suit you & why. Jane will also
cover the important elements you need to know to find your right
shape and style of clothes.
It's an informal morning and
they'll be plenty of chances to discuss any questions you
have.
Feel free to bring any interested friends but please phone
