About us

:: About Us

East Kent Women in Business

is a branch of the Women in Business organisation serving the areas of Kent from Swale across to Thanet and down to Dover, Folkestone and Ashford.

:: Membership

is open to any business woman who feels that by talking with other women from a variety of business backgrounds, she can benefit her own development as well as her business.

:: Benefits

We provide the opportunity for women to promote their business in a non-judgemental and supportive environment. Membership includes entry into our membership directory. Meetings and outings organised by each branch are open to any member, so if anything interests you from a different branch you are welcome to attend.

:: Where we meet

Evenings at Hall Place, Harbledown, Canterbury from 7.00pm

Lunchtime networking in varied locations around our region

Why not come along to a meeting and see whether the organisation will suit your needs? Annual membership costs £45 with an additional charge of £5 per member (£10 non-members) for evening meetings. Have a look at our programme of events or contact us for further details.

:: More networking opportunities!

Links with other organisations

As we meet and talk to other people from different organisations around the country, we let you know about any events or organisations that are particularly interesting, and we link up with organisations if we feel that they fit in to our ethos. This is not restricted to women-only organisations - for example, we have friendly links with millipod, an organisation set up to promote small businesses open to both men and women.
